Lexi starts Kindergarten

I can't believe my little girl is growing up so fast! She was so excited for school to start. She has been in school for a few weeks now, and says her favorite part of school is recess. She enjoys riding the bus to and from school and has made a lot of new friends. I was able to go to school with her to celebrate her birthday and read one of her favorite books to her class. It was a lot of fun! I am so proud of her and all that she is learning and the fact that she is such a good reader! Keep up the good work Lex!!

Where have we been?

So, you might be asking: "what have the Parry's been up to the last 5 months?" That is a good question. This post will hopefully cover the last 5 months. For starters, I am five months pregnant...so that has a lot to do with it. I've only been past the "yucky stage" for a couple of weeks now, but I am definitely feeling better. I have my ultrasound this week! Also, we put our house up for sale, but due to the falling house values we have decided to stay put for now. The rest of the summer will speak for itself.
Landon spent as much time as he could riding on the 4-wheelers.
Lexi graduated from Little Scholar Academy Preschool.

We had a lot of fun up at the property this summer with our cousins!

We got in our fair share of pool time. The kids started swim lessons this summer and both of them did really well. They can't wait for next summer to come so they can go back to the pool!

The highlight of our Bear Lake trip this summer was that Mark competed in the Bear Lake Classic Triathalon. He tore his MCL two days before the Spud Man and had to drop out. After a lot of dedicated rehab, he felt that he would be able to participate in the Bear Lake Classic. However, he got the stomach flu that week. (Most of the Parry side of the family shared this strain of the flu with each other over a 3-4 week period.) We tried our best to talk him out of participating, but he knew he had put too much time and effort into training this year to not try. It was fun to watch and cheer him on!
